Business Description
The Arigna Mining Experience Centre offers a unique and educational day out for all ages. With a 45-minute underground tour, visitors can experience the authentic mining environment with sound and lighting effects. The centre also features an exhibition space explaining the geology and formation of coal deposits, as well as a photo archive. Other facilities include a gift shop and coffee shop. Open all year round, the centre preserves the energy heritage of the Arigna Valley and provides insight into coal mining life from the 1700s to 1990.
