Castle Medical Centre

Castle Medical Centre is a well-established practice in Galway, founded in 1979 by Dr Des Bluett. Over the years, we have grown and moved to a purpose-built premises in Liosban, which offers state-of-the-art facilities and services for our patients. Our practice is fully accessible and provides ample free parking. Many of our patients have been with us since the beginning, and we have had the privilege of caring for multiple generations of the same families. With our size, location, and skilled team, we are able to accommodate new patients on a daily basis. Our team consists of male and female GPs and a practice nurse, ensuring comprehensive healthcare services for all our patients. We also participate in training medical students during certain times of the year. We cater to both private and Medical Card patients, offering a range of services to both groups. However, not all services are free of charge for Medical Card Holders. We are affiliated with the Irish College of General Practitioners and actively advocate for improved health services for all. Located at Centrepoint, Liosban Business Park, Tuam Road, Galway City, Castle Medical Centre is a long-established Family Practice and Occupational Medical Centre. In addition to GP services, we also provide travel vaccinations, medicals, and Occupational Medicine services.
