CKU - Centre for Counselling and Therapy specializes in professional treatment for various issues including harmful drinking, alcohol addiction, marijuana and other substance addictions, pathological gambling, addiction to computer games and the internet, codependency, disorders associated with Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA) and dysfunctional families, disturbed family and partnership relationships, and risks related to substance abuse by young people. We offer individual consultations and psychological counseling, personal development workshops and training, psychotherapy for addicted individuals, psychotherapy for individuals with ACOA syndrome and codependency, psychotherapy for individuals from dysfunctional families, family and couples therapy, workshops for women and men, addiction prevention for adults and youth, and online psychological assistance. We also conduct therapeutic groups and provide individual consultations, psychological workshops for personal development and therapeutic workshops for prosocial behaviors. We collaborate with institutions, qualified specialists, and organizations that provide appropriate assistance in both Ireland and Poland. Our therapy approaches include behavioral-cognitive, psychodynamic, systemic, humanistic, and person-centered therapies, as well as emotion-focused and solution-focused therapies.
