Business Description

Dicksboro GAA Club was established in 1909 in the townland of Dicksboro. The club purchased land in 1981 and developed fields and a clubhouse, which were opened in 1990. The club has continued to improve its facilities, including the recent addition of a Hurling Wall. The focus of the club is on providing a safe and enjoyable environment for players of all ages, from Under 6 to adult levels. The hard work of volunteers has resulted in success at underage level, with numerous County Championship wins and the National Roinn'A' Feile title in 2009. Several players from the club have represented Kilkenny at different age levels, including the current Kilkenny Minor All Ireland Captain, Cillian Buckley, Ollie Walsh, and Gary Gaule.
