Business Description

The Dublin Fringe Festival is a curated, multi-disciplinary festival and year-round organization that focuses on new and innovative approaches to the arts. It supports the development and presentation of new work by Irish and International artists, nurturing artistic ambition and excellence across various art forms. The festival provides an environment for participating artists to challenge, subvert, and invigorate their disciplines and practice. It demands audience engagement and dialogue, broadening arts participation and playing a vital role in Dublin and Irish cultural life. The festival transforms Dublin into a showcase of creative talent from around the world and serves as a platform for emerging Irish arts companies and contemporary theater and dance shows touring internationally. Unlike many Fringes internationally, Dublin Fringe Festival is a wholly curated festival that seeks innovative and daring work that impacts, moves, and invigorates its audience. It receives core funding from the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon, Dublin City Council, and Fáilte Ireland. FRINGE LAB, a part of the festival, is partially funded by the Arts Council's Theatre Resource Sharing Initiative and Dublin City Council's Arts Office.
