  ⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience for First-Time Buyers We are first-time buyers and had a very stressful and disappointing experience dealing with Fran Grincell Properties. We had an Approval in Principle from the bank and paid a €5,000 deposit in good faith. Unfortunately, the bank later advised that due to an existing hire purchase agreement, our approval amount was affected and they required us to move to a joint mortgage. As soon as we were informed, we immediately emailed and explained the situation. Despite the property not being ready to move into, Fran became extremely impatient and repeatedly stated he could not hold the property. We fully explained the banking situation and even offered a reasonable solution — that he could sell this property to someone else, keep our deposit, and consider us for the next phase. Instead of handling this professionally, Fran became aggressive over the phone, used abusive and inappropriate language, and threatened us with the Gardaí. This was completely unacceptable and very distressing, especially for first-time buyers trying to navigate an already difficult process. He continues to threaten us for not completing the purchase, despite the circumstances being clearly explained and documented. Based on our experience, we strongly advise first-time buyers to avoid dealing with Fran Grincell Properties. A basic level of professionalism, patience, and respect was completely lacking.
