Grange Manor is an 18th Century Manor House located in the peaceful Kilkenny countryside. Situated on a 26 acre estate, it offers a tranquil retreat for guests. Despite its secluded location, it is conveniently located within a short distance of Kilkenny, Durrow, and Castlecomer. The bed and breakfast serves as an ideal base for exploring the surrounding counties of Tipperary, Laois, Kilkenny, Waterford, and Wexford. The airports in Cork and Dublin are also easily accessible, being just 90 minutes away. Guests can expect a warm Irish welcome from Mary, the owner, who provides homemade scones, brown bread, and cooked-to-order breakfasts. The Grange Manor has a rich history, dating back to the 12th Century when it was a farm with a small cottage. Over the years, it was expanded and refurbished, and all bedrooms are now ensuite. The Mulcahy family purchased the property in 2005 and have been operating it as a bed and breakfast since 2013. The manor house itself is a stunning example of Georgian architecture, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds. Traditional rooms and suites are available, all equipped with modern amenities such as WiFi and shuttle service. The rooms feature en suite bathrooms, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and free WiFi. Suites offer additional luxuries such as sitting areas, 4-poster beds, claw-foot tubs, or separate dressing rooms.
