Business Description

Founded in 1967, our primary objective is to promote thrift and provide credit at fair and reasonable rates of interest. As a member-owned and controlled organization, we operate in line with the Credit Union philosophy of service, not for profit or charity. Our Credit Committee is available on Tuesday nights to discuss loan requirements, while our Credit Control Committee is available to address difficulties with loan repayments during the same time. Our vision is to satisfy the social and economic needs of our members with dignity and integrity. We aim to achieve this by offering full financial services to everyone in the community who wishes to join, in a cooperative manner and on a not-for-profit basis. To fulfill our vision, we are committed to developing and providing the highest quality financial products and services to our members. We recognize the value and dignity of our members and their contributions to the social development of the community. Additionally, we strive to serve our members' needs now and in the future by strengthening our role and position in the community. Located on the northside of Dublin City, Larkhill & District Credit Union is proud to be a community-based credit union.
