The "Netplants Ireland" project aims to address food poverty by sharing effective methods and co-creating new approaches to bring knowledge and skills to people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Led by AFIDEL, an adult education provider in France, and partnered with Ireland, Romania, Spain, and the UK, the project will result in practical guides, trained facilitators, online courses, learning toolboxes, a multilingual website, and professional Facebook pages. Kerry One World Centre will be involved in developing workshops on cooking, gardening, decorating with plants, and creating cosmetics using wild plants. The project will initially benefit Kerry residents, with potential for replication throughout the country.
