Newmills Corn & Flax Mill is a historic complex located 5km outside Letterkenny off Churchill Road. The site features the oldest surviving building, which is believed to be 400 years old. The complex serves as a reminder of the country's industrial development, which has now been replaced by more advanced technology. Guided tours are available upon request, with a maximum capacity of 15-20 people and a duration of 45 minutes. Visitors can also explore the site using a leaflet or guide booklet available in English, Irish, French, German, and Italian. Photography is allowed, but commercial photography requires permission. An audiovisual presentation titled "Newmills" is available, accommodating up to 20 people and lasting 17 minutes in English. The site is open from 24th May to 26th September, with daily operating hours from 10.00 to 18.00. The last admission is 45 minutes before closing time.
