Patrick Bolger Photography

Patrick Bolger is a Dublin-based photographer who has had a successful career in sports photography, covering major international events such as the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games. In 2000, he published a book called 'Running to Stand Still' which documented Sonia O'Sullivan's journey to her Olympic Silver Medal. In 2005, he started his own photographic business in Dublin and held his first solo exhibition called 'The Road' in August 2012. In recent years, he has ventured into film-making and completed his first short documentary film called 'The Fisherman' in 2011, with funding from the IFB Reality Bites scheme. He and his team have received funding for their next short documentary, 'Jesus Lives', which will premiere at the Cork Film Festival in 2013.
