Ronaghan's Pharmacy Limited, established in Monaghan town in 1918 by Peter Ronaghan, has a rich history in the pharmaceutical profession. Peter's professionalism and commitment to upholding the standards set by the Whitla family led to the acquisition of Whitla's pharmacy in 1933. Peter's sons, Peadar and Lorcan, followed in their father's footsteps, both becoming qualified pharmacists and opticians. After Peter's passing, Peadar expanded the Church Square premises and continued to run both locations until his own passing in 1990. Eleanor, Peadar's wife, took over the business until early 2005. Today, Peter and Andrew, Peadar and Eleanor's sons, are running the business and have recently reopened in The Diamond Monaghan. Ronaghan's Pharmacy has a strong focus on skincare, fragrance, and beauty, constantly researching and introducing new brands to meet customer needs.
