Our services include a wide range of eye examinations to ensure the health and vision of our patients, including screenings for vdu users, color vision testing, and glaucoma screening. We also offer a diverse selection of frames and lenses to accommodate all preferences and budgets, and accept medical card and PRSI patients. Additionally, we specialize in fitting, aftercare, and supplying contact lenses from major brands. Our unique advantage lies in having Dr. Mary Jo Ryan, a resident medical eye doctor who specializes in managing and treating conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, and eye infections. With our full-time technician and on-site glazing lab, we are able to make and repair glasses promptly. Conveniently located in the center of Wexford town, Ryan's Opticians and Medical Eye Centre provides a comprehensive range of eye care services, from routine examinations to the diagnosis and management of medical eye conditions. As the only optician in Wexford with an in-house medical eye doctor, we offer excellence in optometric services as well as the ability to diagnose and treat medical eye conditions in our Medical Eye Clinic. Our team, led by Dr. Aidan Ryan and Dr. Monica Ryan, includes Dr. Mary Jo Ryan managing the Medical Eye Clinic and Optometrist Laura Hayes overseeing the optician side of the business. We are open for routine eye testing from Monday to Saturday, and our Medical Eye Doctor is available for further investigation and treatment as needed.
