    Business Description

Sail Training Ireland for Youth Development is a charity that offers life-changing self-development training programs on board Tall Ships. These programs are open to individuals from all backgrounds and abilities, with the main focus being on learning to work effectively with a team of peers in challenging sea situations. The trainees not only gain skills in sailing and the sea but also develop leadership, communication, teamwork, confidence, resilience, and an understanding of diversity. The outcomes of these programs include the formation of lifelong friendships, boosted self-confidence, and unique life skills that cannot be learned elsewhere. Many trainees describe their experience as life-changing and often return for multiple voyages.
