Business Description
Our owner and sole baker, Sarah Richards, is a graduate of Crawford College of Art and Design Cork and trained as a chef at the Ballymaloe Cookery School Cork. She has a passion for bread making and has worked with renowned baker Declan Ryan from Arbutus lodge breads in Cork. After starting her bakery in a Tramore café, Sarah moved the baking home to supply a local farmers market and built a strong customer base. In 2013, she converted her art studio into a bakery overlooking the sea. With the launch of her new bakery, Sarah has introduced a range of true wild yeast Sourdoughs inspired by bread guru Andrew Whitley of Bread Matters. She shares the concerns and values of the Real Bread Campaign and aims to deliver Real Bread to the people of the South East of Ireland with her own Sourdough Revolution. Located on Main Street, Tramore, our small Artisan sourdough bakery specializes in sourdough bread and patisseries.
