The Monks Pub (O'Gormans) is a traditional Irish pub located in Thurles. With a spacious interior and a large beer garden/smoking area, we are able to accommodate various events such as parties, christenings, and funerals. One of our highlights is the famous Traditional Irish Music session that takes place every Wednesday night, featuring 10 to 20 musicians. We also welcome visiting musicians to join in the session. Additionally, we have the Monks Golf Society, which organizes yearly outings both in Ireland and abroad. After each outing, we hold presentations at The Monks followed by complimentary food and music. New members are always welcome to join. We also offer regular activities such as Cards & Darts on Thursday nights, starting at 22.00.
