Business Description
The Submarine Bar is hosting a weekly band competition called SUBTERRANEAN. The competition is open to all bands that require no more than 10 channels on a desk. Each Thursday, three bands will compete, with the first three weeks serving as preliminaries and the fourth week featuring the winners from the previous weeks. The prizes for the first three weeks are €50 drink vouchers, while the prize for the fourth week includes a weekend gig at the Submarine Bar with a payment of €300, as well as two rehearsal sessions at Loop Studio's. The competition is open to individuals over 18 years old and voting will be done through Facebook, where attendees must check in on their smartphones to vote. The band with the most likes on their pictures will win. In addition to the weekly competition, the monthly winners will compete in a quarterly competition with a two-day recording session at Loop Studio's as one of the prizes. The quarterly winners will then compete in an end-of-year competition with judges and bigger prizes. The Submarine Bar provides the necessary equipment, including a PA system, backline, and high-powered LED lighting, as well as a sound engineer. Bands are required to attend sound check at 7.30pm and keep their set to 30 minutes. The gig will run from 9pm to 11pm, and votes will be counted afterwards. The more votes a band receives, the higher their chances of winning. Good luck to all participants.
