Today I visited the TK Maxx store in Killarney with my husband and young child. While using the fitting rooms, I felt extremely uncomfortable due to the behaviour of a staff member. She counted my items, which I understand is store policy, but then repeatedly went through my clothes without explanation and stopped me again when I was leaving the fitting room to go to the till. At no point did she clearly explain what the issue was, and the situation made me feel as though I was being treated with suspicion. This was especially upsetting as I am currently pregnant. I have shopped in TK Maxx many times before and have never experienced anything like this, which made the situation particularly surprising and distressing. I understand loss prevention procedures, but they should be carried out with clear communication and basic respect. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling stressed and uncomfortable, and I decided not to make a purchase. I hope this feedback can be used to improve customer service and staff training in the future.
