Valentia Island Caravan and Camping is a family-friendly park located on The Wild Atlantic Way, just 400m from Knightstown village. Our park offers a peaceful setting on the outskirts of the village, providing an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the island and enjoying a unique island holiday experience. Valentia Island is easily accessible from the mainland via a road bridge from Portmagee or a car ferry from Renard Point, Cahersiveen. The ferry operates a continuous shuttle service, with a quick five-minute crossing, seven days a week from April to October. Knightstown, the main hub of activity on the island, offers stunning views of Valentia Harbour, Beginish Island, and the mainland. It serves as the departure point for various boat trips and fishing excursions and is home to many activities and attractions within walking distance of our park. At Valentia Island Caravan and Camping, we provide approximately 12 tent pitches with electric hook-ups and eight touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes, and campervans, all with electric hook-ups. Our facilities building includes metered showers and toilets for both ladies and gents, a small campers kitchen with cooking and washing facilities, and a laundry room equipped with washers and dryers. Additionally, we have a games room with a pool table and a bookshelf for both adults and kids. For touring vans, we offer a service area with a grey waste disposal unit and chemical toilet disposal unit. Our reception is open from 10am, and check-in time is between 2pm and 7pm. Late arrivals can be accommodated with prior notice. Valentia Island Caravan and Camping operates annually from April 1st to October 1st.
