    Business Description

Cronin's Pub is a family-owned traditional Irish pub and restaurant located in Crosshaven, Cork. The pub has a rich history, dating back to 1892 when it was originally opened as a hotel by the Kennefick family. Sean's parents, Jo and Denny, purchased the establishment in 1970 and turned it into a popular bar. Sean later married Thecla, a Dutch lady with a passion for cooking, who transformed Cronin's into a renowned lunchtime destination known for its local seafood treats. Their son Denis inherited her culinary flair and opened the award-winning Mad Fish Restaurant in 2009. The pub also showcases Sean's collection of curios and antiques, with a dedicated section for boxing memorabilia. Joleen, their daughter, is a photographer, graphic designer, and marketing manager who has made Cronin's a cultural hub in the Crosshaven community. The pub serves lunch daily and offers dinner in the Mad Fish Restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings. With its warm Irish hospitality and delicious local food, Cronin's Pub is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Irish experience.
