    Howth Yacht Club, originally known as Howth Sailing Club, was founded in 1895. In 1968, it merged with Howth Motor Yacht Club to form Howth Yacht Club. The club's new clubhouse was opened in 1987, with plans for further extensions in the future. As an Irish Sailing Association accredited training facility, the club offers sailing courses throughout the year for sailors of all ages. It also has a fully serviced marina with berthing for 250 yachts and welcomes visitors to the scenic area of Dublin. New membership applications can be accessed through the club's official website. Additionally, the club is hosting the Sportsboat Cup from May 25th to 27th, 2018, which is open to various types of boats.
